Open Design Team Call!!!!!!!!!!!

We are excited to announce Scrap’n With Flair’s first Open Design Team call.  We are looking for talented Canadian crafters to join our Fabulous team. 

Please forward your applications to Leanne at info@scrapnwithflair.com   Your application should include a short bio on you and your crafting history and a link to your blog.  Also please submit 3 pictures of projects you have recently completed showcasing your unique style.

Applications must be received by April 23^rd and the team member(s) will be announced on April 30^th, 2012.

We are looking forward to hearing from you!!!

Requirements

This is an 8 month term starting:  May 1^st, 2012 ending December 31^st, 2012.

You must have a blog and make regular blog posts to your personal blog, 2 to 3 posts per month

You will also be required to make 1 post a month to the Scrap’n With Flair blog.  You will receive the date you will be required to post at a later date.

Blog posts should contain photos of projects you have completed.  One post per month should contain a tutorial this could include a YouTube tutorial.  You should provide links back to the Scrap’n With Flair website for any products that we sell

You are required to add the I Design For Scrap’n With Flair button to your blog with a link back to the Scrap’n With Flair website.

Promote Scrap’n With Flair on your social media sites including your blog, Facebook, Twitter on a regular basis.

Participate in blog hops, swaps, challenges or special online events as requested.

You will be required to do, at minimum, 1 Youtube video/month showcasing projects that you created using the Scrap’n With Flair products.  This could be a video on what you created with the kit of the month or any new products brought into the store.

Leave comments on the other DT members blogs and company blog.

In the event that you do not complete any of the above requirements Scrap’n With Flair has the right to remove you from the Design Team and fill the position with another candidate on the wait list.

Hey all!!!


Well it has been forever since I have blogged....things have been a little crazy around here.


Less than a week after we got home from CHA I was off to Vegas with my hubby for a week  We had a blast!!!


Then is was our annual Scrap-A-Palooza which was a huge success.  Fun was had by all.....


I also took the store to the Humboldt crop which was FANTASTIC!!  Donna and I always enjoy this crop.  It has to be one of our favorites to attend.

Starburst Sprays, Stains and Color Shots

We are carrying a wide variety of colors of their Strarburst Sprays, Color Shots, Moon Shadow Sprays, Magicals and Embossing Powders.


The colors of the Strarburst Sprays, Stains, and Color Shots provide a deep, rich, vibrant color with a two-toned shimmer.  These are all dye based products, which give them that vibrancy and can be used on any porous surface, (paper, wood, fabric, balsa, chipboard, etc.)

Moon Shadow Sprays

When your Lindy's products are shipped to you they are in a dry powder state.  This saves on shipping costs, the weight is lower and here in Saskatchewan we won't have to worry about the product freezing and exploding in the box.  :)  It is the perfect solution.


The following video was created by Tracey the owner of Lindy's Stamp Gang.  She shows you how to prepare your sprays for use for the first time.  It is super simple...no special chemicals are needed just plane old H2O (water).


I should also tell you that the spray tops on the Lindy's products are 100% guarenteed!!!!  That in itself is amazing!!!  They will never clog if you follow the instructions on the video.

Here is what I came up with....I do have a min on the go also but just haven't had time to complete it yet.  As soon as I am back from Anahiem I am planning on finishing it up.  Hopefully before we leave for Vegas.   We will see what happens.

CHA Day 2 - Ranger Workshop

WOW!!!  The Ranger Workshops were AMAZING to say the least.  We were taught by Tim Hotlz, Claudine Hellmuth, and Dyan Reaveley.  The projects that we completed in class were were wonderful.  We were taught  new techniques with the new products that are being released.

We got to play with the new Ranger Distress markers, Studio Paint, and Dylusions.  They are all wonderful products you can expect to see in the store.

Here is a pic of the product we used and got to keep from Ranger.  Yay!!!!  Thanks Ranger!!!  We got tons of goodies!!!  And 6 of the new Distress Markers.  Whooo Hooo!!!

CHA 2012 Day 1 - Copic Certified!!!!

Day one in Anaheim is done.  The Copic Certification class was FANTASTIC!!!  I learnt a ton of new techniques and we got to play with the airbrush.  I have to say that this little machine is on my list of MUST HAVES for 2012!!!  It will make a wonderful addition to my arsenal of tools.  :)

So it is official.  I am a Copic Certified Designer.  I can't wait to share all the new techniques with you.  :)

 

Tomorrow morning at 8:00 am is the first of 2 Tim Holtz workshops.  I am sure I will have tones of pics to share!!!  I am super excited!!!  I can't imagine what he has in store for us.

Well Ladies Tim Holtz has out done himself again.  This is a MUST HAVE die cut system for me.  I can hardly wait to get my hands on it.
