Hey Everyone!! Ok a few posts ago I told you I was working on Disney albums for my kiddies for Christmas. And I promised some pictures.....again got side tracked with the room move etc but here are a few pictures of what I have created so far.
I used a ton of the Kiwi Lane Designer Templates to create these layouts. I tell you they are making my life sooo easy right now. And I am having a ton of fun using them. I used the Mini Borders which are designed for 8x8 layouts and a few of the Tiny Accessory sets also.

G45 and Kiwi Lane Christmas Project
Hey Everyone!!! Well the holiday season is well on its way. In less than 2 weeks the man in red will make his appearance. I can't believe how quickly the holiday season is progressing. :)
I have been playing with my beloved Kiwi Lane Designer Templates again. I can't seem to get enough of these things. LOL
I altered a canvas using the Graphic 45 Nutcracker Suite papers. I love this paper line. What I actually did was used the back of the canvas instead of the front. :) Sneaky I know. Hahahahah...ok not really this have been done countless times by different people. Just thought I would give it a go. LOL
Here is the finished result.
Now let me see if I can remember what Designer Templates I used.....
Abbey Road
Aspen Court
Scallops
This was a super fun project to create. :)
Make sure you check out the Kiwi Lane Blog. Today is the last day of their 12 Days of Christmas...they are having a fantastic give away. All you have to do is post what your favorite Holiday Indulgence is.
Mine has to be my mom's Crab Mousse....OMG it is toooo die for. :) Even though my mom is no longer with us my sister and I still make it every year. :)

SVG Cuts - Halloween Carousel
Ok I am still totally loving my Sizzix Eclips!!! The things I can make with that machine are amazing. :)
Even more amazing are the people at SVG Cuts who make the fantastic cut files. Here is my version of there Summer Carousel. :) I had such a blast putting this one together. :)
The paper line I used was the Graphic 45 Happy Hauntings paper.
OMG wait till you see what I am going to create next. Mary at SVG Cuts has created a 12" Nutcracker made entirely out of paper!!! It is absolutely wonderful!!! I can hardly wait to get started. :)
I have also been playing with my Treasure Box Design cut files. Another one of my favorite SVG Sites. :) I created this 2 page layout using my Kiwi Lane Designer Templates and the Carving Our Memories cut file from TBD. :)

Scrapbooking Again :)
Hey All,
Ok in the last post I said I was going to show you all some pictures of the albums I have been working on for my kids for Christmas. Well, I haven't for got, LOL, I just got a little distracted...what else is new. Hahahah
So about a month ago I was watching a You Tube from Creative Cricut Designs, and Jennifer had mentioned that she used templates from Kiwi Lane Designs to create the layout she was doing. It was a fantastic layout!!!
Soooooooo of course I had to check Kiwi Lane out...and OMG....I totally fell in love with their product. Their templates totally take the stress out of scrapbooking...at least they do for me. :) It is super easy to play around with the templates until you get the look you want. You know exactly what your layout is going to look like before you start cutting your paper. LOVE THAT!!!!!!!!!
They call their style of scrapbooking "Framing". Here is a video explaining what "Framing" is...
Using these templates has brought me back to doing what I love....scrapbooking...revisiting memories....and being creative. I have to say that I was in a bit of a rut...ok a lot of a rut. It has been a long long time since I created a 12x12 layout actually using more than one picture.
I managed to fit in 12 photos on this layout!!! Whoo Hooo!! (BTW Kiwi Lane has monthly challenges with give aways!!! Yayyyyy!!! I won the last one with the above layout. :) Make sure you check it out.)
It seems that the designers from the leading scrapbooking companies have forgotten what scrapbooking is all about. Don't get me wrong I love looking at their artwork..and I love their products..but seriously is it practical or affordable??? Not in my world it isn't...(this is the realization I have come to). When I take pictures of my family hanging out and having fun, or of birthdays, or Christmas, or Thanksgiving (I think you get the idea) I don't just take one picture, and I am thinking that a lot of your are the same. :) and it is completely unrealistic to scrapbook them one at a time or to choose the perfect picture from a birthday party. (Not that I will never do a layout using one picture again...because I most definitely will...but there will be fewer of them in my scrapbooks). So I am on a mission.....
I have a scrapbooking room jam packed with papers, and stickers, and flowers, and chipboard, and buttons, and ribbon and brads, and ...and....and...and....OMG!!!!!!! it is ridiculous the amount of stuff that I have collected and am now hoarding for some strange reason.. So, what the plan is...is to get those photos out of the dozens of boxes, photo albums and off the computer and into scrapbooks, after all this is why I started collecting all of my scrapbooking goodies.....
I have started pulling out photos already. :) I mean business this time...hahahah. It was tough for me to find a starting point...then I thought...I am so far behind already does it really matter where I start...LOL...nope it really doesn't....I have the picture picked for my next double page layout I will post a pic when it is complete.
I am hoping to start moving forward again and keeping things simple. :)

SVG Cut Fall/Halloween Fun!!!!
As promised here are a few pics of the absolutely FANTASTIC SVG files from SVG Cuts!! This is another one of my favorite online stores. Leo and Mary are amazing at creating 3D files. I love them all. I have a few more pieces in the works but here is what I have created so far.
This first pic is of an Apple Pie that I created using the Fall Harvest SVG Kit from SVG Cuts. I didn't take a side picture but this is actually a box or container. The lid (pie crust) comes off and you can store some sweet goodies in there. LOVE IT!!!!

You would think that these files are complicated to actually put together after cutting...but in all honesty they are super easy. And if you run into troubles SVG cuts has a YouTube channel with assembly tutorials.
Here are some pics of the Haunted House I created using the Elmhurst Hollow SVG Kit. I was in a hurry when putting this one together...I am planning on trying again. The porch on the front of the house is put on backwards...LOL Looks much better the right way.
The back of the house has openings in it to put some electronic tea lights in as the windows are covered with tissue paper or vellum. It is super cute when it is all lite up. :)
I added some black flowersoft for dirt and had a few ghosties and spiders just begging to be added to the house. :)
Thanks for looking.

These paper peicings were a little tricky to put together but I love how the layouts turned out. :) The papers I used for this one are from the Imaginisce Christmas Cheer paper line.
I will have more pics coming in a day or two!! I have lots more goodies to show you.

Mixed Media Project
Well I finally did it!!! My first mixed media project. You have no idea how many times I sat down with the mixed media journal I bought opened it up....staired at the blank page....then closed it. That first page is intimidating.....
I was watching some of Chrisy Tomlinson's YouTube videos yesterday and then I sat in on Limor Webber's Ustream class last night and I just couldn't help myself. I hauled out the journal and just started putting paint and paper on the page.
It was refreshing....I could just create and be creative. I just let go.... I had fun!!
I used some of Claudine Hellmuth's paints, Gesso and Mat Medium. The paper line I used is Prima's Rondelle. OMG LOVE that paper.
Here are a few pics... I apologize for the quality of the pictures. It was like 1am when I finished...there are terrible shadows in my house at that time. LOL
So I guess this is the start of my art journal journey. :)

A Lil Scrap Of Heaven Mini Swap
Hey all!!! I want to share with you a mini I have been working on for a swap. :). This swap is through A Lil Scrap Of Heaven Ning Site. :).
The swap theme is Summer and all I had to do was create a mini. Easy peasy!! Lol. So I thought. It is difficult to create something for someone you have never met. But having said that I still enjoyed it. I sure hope that Sara does as well.
Here are a few pics of what I created. I guess i should tell you that the paper I used is from Close To My Heart. I can't remember the name of it and I used Laura Dennisons, Stack The Deck, binding system. This is an awesome binding system. It is quick, easy and adaptable what ever size project you are wanting to create I use it often.

Basic Grey Plumeria Layout
Hey All,
Again it has been a long time between posts.....but I do have a 12 x 12 layout to share with you. :)
I had a chance this weekend to sit down and create. :) It has been a long long time since I have done a 12x12 layout. I like the way it turned out. :)
I used the Scrap'n With Flair July Plumeria Kit to create this layout. I added a few extra flowers and some Lindy's sprays.
The Lindy's Sparys I used on the flowers were Icy Primrose Yellow and Magnolia Magenta Gold there is one other one I used also but I can't remember the name of it. LOL I am blogging from work again. Hahaha
To create the banner I used the banner punch from Stamp'n Up. The trim, stickers and transparencies are all from the kit.
I have been working on a wedding album and hopefully will be posting pics of it later this week.... :)

Father's Day Challenge - Scrap'n With Flair
Hey All!!!! Well I had a super busy but creative weekend. :) Whoo!!! Hooo!!! I had a hundred other things to do on Saturday and Sunday but I seriously put everything on hold to play in my Studio. It felt sooooo good. :) I miss my creative time.
Soo what was I up too....well I finished my Altered Dresser for the swap that I am in, but I am not posting pictures till after the swap.... and I created a Father's Day Card for my hubby
Tami, one of my Design Team members, is hosting another challenge. Check out her blog for her contact information and the rest of the detail. It is an easy peasy one. All you have to do is create a Father's Day card, using what ever items you choose, and submit it to her before June 25th. Really, it doesn't get much easier than that. :) Everyone who submits their artwork will be entered to win some I Am Roses from Scrap'n With Flair. Whooo!! Hooo!!! Everyone loves prizes. :)
I wanted to join in the fun and maybe provide some creative inspirations....here is what I came up with.
Here is the inside....the little piece of paper on an angle pulls out so I can write on it.
The paper I used was from Tim Holtz's Lost and Found paper stash. I cut out some of the elements from the papers and then used a couple of stamps he created also. The little gears at the top a Tim Holtz product also. The stickers are from the Prima Almanac line. I just inked them with Peeled Paint. I inked the rest of the papers with Peeled Paint, Rusty Hinge, Fired Brick and Black Soot.
I am looking forward to seeing all of your entries......
Happy Scrap'n Everyone

ATC Book Page Swap
Hey All, I have some swapping news for you. I have joined a swapping group at Swap-Bot.com. This is my first ever swap outside the store. I am super excited to start....
Ok this first swap is an ATC Book Page Swap. Basically the only parameter was we had to use a piece of a book page somewhere on he ATC.
This is the first ATC I have made.... here it is. Let me know what you think.. :)
I used the Graphic 45 Curiosity Shop 8x8 paper pad. I fussy cut the bottles, pillar and bottles. I used Glossy Accents on the bottles and Distress Stickles on the butterfly. I then sprayed the whole thing lightly with Goose Bumps.
I inked the bottles and book page with Rusty Hinge Distress Ink and Black Soot Distress Ink. I ripped an curled the edges of the book page.
This was a lot of fun to create and amazingly enough it didn't take me very long. :)
I am participating in a couple more swaps. A Matchbox Swap at Swap-Bot and an Altered Dresser Swap through A Lil Scraps of Heaven. I am super excited about both of these.
Elysia is working on a BLING swap over at Scrap'n With Flair. I am thinking this one is going to be fantastic!!! I LOVE BLING!!!! :) Keep an eye on her Blog
There will be more swapping fun to come!!!

Hey All, it has been a while since I have blogged....tooo tooo tooo tooo long. I have been participating in the swaps going on over at MrschiEvous Crafts. Elysia, one of my Design Team members has been doing a fantastic job hosting them all....
This months swap was a handmade flower swap. I am a complete flower junkie so this was a lot of fun for me. I created paper flowers, ribbon flowers, lace flowers, mulberry flower, and even quilled a couple for my partner. Here is a peak....
Of course I always have to add a few extra goodies in the box. :)
And I can't send anything out without creating a box or bag to put them in....
and finally I created a card... :)
I hope my partner enjoys her goodies.
I apologize for the blurry pics. I took them with my phone (shhhhhh I am bloggin from work again. LOL)

Osler Crop Make and Take Sneak Peak
Hey All,
The store is off to the Osler crop this weekend. This will be our first time attending and I am super excited!!
The make and take we will be doing will be featuring an image from KristiDailey.com and our new Memory Box Dies. :)
Kristi has very kindly let us use her image. Thanks Kristi!!!!
You are going to love the new Memory Box dies. As you can see in the picture below the die cuts are intricate and delicate. Very similar to a laser cut die cut. :) I didn't put a sentiment on it...left that blank so the croppers can use it on what ever project they choose. They can even add a photo. :)
The two Memory Box Dies I used are
Cherry Blossom
Gentle Leaf

Hello Everyone!!!
I've been married for 8 years and have a daughter who is 4 and a son who is 13 months who are the subject of the majority of my layout/projects. I've been scrapbooking, card making, crafting for approximately 12 years and started when cutting funny titles out of magazines what how you made titles for your pictures. Over the years my scrapbooking ways/techniques have grown and evolved and I look forward to continuing on this journey of growth in the future.
I am so excited and honoured to have been chosen by Leanne to be on the Scrap'n With Flair design team for a second term. I was introduced to so many new and wonderful products, tools and techniques during the first term that I am very excited to see what the second term has to offer.
I am totally addicted to everything scrapbooking has to offer and love challenges and thinking outside of the box. Other than scrapbooking, I have a full time job as the Operations Manager at Innovative Rehabilitation Constultants and where I have been working for the past 11 years. I am looking forward to creating many projects this tern that will be treasured for a lifetime.
I won`t keep you waiting any longer....I would like to introduce the 2012 Scrap`n With Flair Design Team!!!!
Hi, my name is Stephanie Stanton, and I have been
scrapbooking for about 7 years. The
daughter of an avid scrapbooker and crafter, it is, “in my genes”. I have always had a passion for art, and have
practiced its many form’s, I attended York University to study my B.F.A., with
a focus on Visual Arts; painting, photography and art history. When my son was born with little space to
paint in our tiny house, I focussed my artistic outlet on scrapbooking the many
photos and special memories of my sweet little boy!
That of course ballooned into a serious passion for creating
layouts, cards, altered art projects and perfecting my photography. I hold monthly classes/crops at a local
church and partner with my mother to hold bi-annual weekend retreats. My most important job is Mom to three wonderfully active and involved children, I love to
volunteer for community events and committees and I work full time in marketing
for a local manufacturing company.
My ability to celebrate my art would not be possible without
the love and support of my favourite scrapbooking subjects; my wonderful
children; Carter (7), Sienna (5), my bonus daughter Montana (13) and my life
partner John.
Hi Everyone!
I`m Kiki (Kelly-Ann) Halbert and I live in Ottawa Ontario with my husband, dog and 2 cats.
I`be been involved in digital scrapbooking since 2004, and started designing and selling my own digital scrapbook products in 2006. I became involved in fine arts and paper crafts in the summer of 2011, first with art journaling, and now with mixed media. I create mixed media art work, art journals and art journal pages, and hypbrid (digital scrapbook elelments printed at home and used in a project) paper craft projects. I love to work with different textures (the messier the better) and media in my projects. I have a weakness for Prima and Basic Grey products, especially pretty flowers and trinkets.
Hey there! My name is Yvonne Gebauer. I’m 52 years old. I’m a wife of 32 years, a mother to two wonderful sons (28 & 25) and a mother-in-law to two great daughter-in-laws. I’m a Grandmother to 3.99 of the most amazing little people on the face of the earth (2 ½, 2 ½ & 16 months). The 4th is literally due any day now!!
I’ve been
working full-time for Royal Bank for over 33 years (and yes, I started before
we had computers to process everything and it was all manual posting!).
I started making cards over 20 years ago now. I first started when my mother allowed me to
get into her crafting supplies and play around.
At that time we’d go and spend hours picking and pressing flowers to use
on our cards. I’m so very blessed to have a crafting mother who encouraged me
to experiment and grow in our craft when I first started out.....we had sooo
much fun with those pressed flowers!!
My
style, likes & dislikes, techniques, tools and more have evolved many times
over in that time. When my first
Grandchildren were born (2 ½ months apart) I started to scrapbook. I fell in love and have done a few albums
since then of the babies and our motorcycle trips. Lately my passion has swung back to cards and
I’ve found myself growing and evolving once again in that craft. When you can’t find me in my crafting therapy
room (which truly does feel like therapy some days......although I think
therapy may be cheaper.....lol) or with my Grandchildren, you’ll find me on my
Suzuki motorcycle with my hubby, on our quads or kicking back at our
cabin.
I’m sooo very excited to be part
of the Scrap ‘n With Flair design team and I can hardly wait to dig into our
supplies and start creating for you! I
look forward to encouraging you to branch out and try new things and to
experiment in this wonderful craft as well....I hope you too will fall in love
with it.
Hello Everyone!!!
My name is Elysia Lebedoff, I'm a 35 year old Mom to a special needs stepson (11 yrs), as well as have a son (5 yrs) and daughter (1 yrs) of my own. My husband, Scott, and I have been married for 3 years this year, and have been together for 8. I honestly can't remember us not being together or having our wonderful kids, and would not change that for anything.
I grew up in a small town with a crafy Mom who sewed and made almost anything and everything from scratch. She gave me a love for handmade items, refurbishing things, making collages, as well as reading romance books. Ultimately, she's the one who started me out on my crafting quest!
I am ALL ABOUT COLOR! I have a bold personality, which I like to let shine through in my scrapbook layout, my mini albums, as well as my junk to treasured projects! I constantly seem to be looking for something new to try, something to reuse in a different way, and I aim to put a different spin on whatever I make. I've always been excited by mixed medias and ephemera, and have been loving the new trends with adding bling & flowers to charm up my pages!
In 2005, I started scrapbooking just after my first trip with my DH, and am not sure why I didn't try it before then. My lovely sister-in-law inspired me by showning me her first book, and the rest is history! I ran right out and bought some stuff and went to work, spending sometimes what seemed like days on a page. Now, after taking a small hiatus due to having babies, I'm back at it and doing my best to be (alot faster &) better than ever!
I'm ecstatic that Scrap'n with Flair is giving me a chance to be part of their design team, as this is the first time I have done anything publicly with my scrapbooking, or crafting. I'm truely looking forward to having the chance to show you what can be done with the great personal kits and products supplied by Scrap'n With Flair and a little time!
Hi my name is Tamara but everyone calls me Tami and I'm very please to be a part of the Scrap'n With Flair Design Team.

Design Team Call Changes
Hey All,
I have been speaking to some very creative people who are part of other Design Teams and I have decided to make a few minor changes to the "Perks" you will get.
The first change is to the cost of the Design Team kits you will receive each month....there will be no charge. It seems it is only fair if you are working designing for me that I offer the kits at no charge. :)
The second change is to the mention of the Christmas Party. Obviously if I have DT members from all over Canada it will be a little tough to host a Christmas party. So, this will be removed.
The third and final thing is not necessarily a change....there has been some concern about doing YouTube videos. Although this will still remain a requirement we will have a DT meeting discussing the frequency of the videos and try and answer any question you may have.
Ok this is it for now. I am off to the the Christian Life Academy crop this weekend. I am super excited about this one. :)

Long Long Long Day!!!
Ok, yes!!! I am supposed to be working my day job, but seriously!!! I just can't seem to get motivated. So, here I sit blogging basically about nothing. Hahahahaha....anything to kill the time on this never ending day.
The sun is shining outside. Which is fantastic, considering the weather we had yesterday...which was anything but fantastic. LOL It really was the weirdest weather I had ever experienced....there was rain, snow, hail, lightening and thunder....we got it all in one day. As they say only in Saskatchewan. :)
Hmmmm what else can I yammer on about....ohhh our youngest daughter is in English riding lessons and last night she jumped 3 feet for the first time. :) It was a big deal for her and me....I wish I could have gotten a picture of her smile when she was done. I know that 3 feet doesn't sound like a lot but trust me when you are cantering along on a 1200lb horse....it really is a big deal. :) You know I just thought of something...she is not going to be happy with me if she ever finds out I was blogging about her. Hahahahah...good thing I am not using names....better thing that she never reads my blog. LOL
I have some exciting news about the store...more new product is going to be arriving soon..but I think I will keep it secret till it arrives. More CHA goodies. :)
Well I guess I should really get back to work....
Talk to you soon.... :)
