Love Blooms Here

Hey All!!  It has been a busy weekend in the Bourassa household... :)  The most exciting news is my youngest daughter was in her first equestrian show this weekend.  We are so proud of her.  She had a FANTASTIC day!!!  Unfortunately the lighting in the arena was terrible and we didn't get any good photos.  Sad considering I am a scrapbooker...and I have no photos to scrapbook....but we did get this video of her 2' Hunter Class.  :)

I also had the chance to play with some Treasure Box Design files.  :)  This one has got to be one of my favorites.  It is the Love Blooms Here file.

OMG how cute are those little girls!!!  LOVE IT!!!!

Here is the layout I created using the file and the Basic Grey Plumeria papers.  :)

One last thing!!  OMG!!!!!!!!!!  We are off to Utah to the Scrapbook Expo!!!  I am too excited for words.  :)  We leave tomorrow!!  I am sure I will have tones to post and yack about when I get back.  :)

Talk to you when I get back.  :)

I had the chance to sit and scrapbook with my sister and her dear friend Tonya over the weekend.  It was a blast.  :)  Between the giggles I did manage to get a layout completed.  :)

I had asked Dina to make a Miss Muffet file for me a while back ... and she did!!!  Here she is... Treasure Tot Muffy!!!

OMG she is just toooooooo cute.  :)  Creating this page was super easy...of course I used the paper piecing file Muffy and my Kiwi Lane Designer Templates.  :)

I Do believe I used the Scallops, Madison Avenue, Tiny Floral, Tiny Wacky and Tiny Nature Designer Templates on this one.  :)  I haven't added the photo yet but this layout was made with my youngest daughter in mind.  :)

Thanks for stopping by!!!  I am thinking my next post is going to be an organizational/ScrapRack update.  :)

Kiwi Lane March Blog Hop

Hey All!!!  I am soooooooooooooooo excited to be part of the Kiwi Lane Blog Hop this month.  :)

You should be coming to my blog from Nella Nalam's blog Memorable Scraps.  :)  If you are arriving from somewhere else make sure you go back to the start at Kiwi Lane's BlogThere are prizes at stake.  :)

When Kristy asked me to be part of this hop I was absolutely ECSTATIC!!  I could barely contain myself.  :)  I think my hubby and kids might have thought I had finally fell off my scrappy rocker.  LOL

I found Kiwi Lane about a year ago and I have been completely addicted to their Designer Templates ever since.  It really has made my life a lot easier.  Being able to make my page map and see what my layout is going to look like before I ever cut 1 piece of paper is the bomb!!

Ok enough of my babbling and on to the good stuff.  Here is the first project I created.  I had a totaly blast making these flowers.  They were sooooo easy.  Just traced the templates onto paper coffee filters, cut them out, used floral tape to wrap them around a floral wire then sprayed and dried.  I did do some curling of the petals in the end.  The Designer Template I used was the Tiny Wildflower.  This is one of my absolute favorite templates.  I use it a lot.  I am a flower kind of  girl....

I also decided to make a double page layout.  The Designer Templates I used were
Tiny Wildflowers, Chestnut Drive, Cascade Trails, Tiny Brackets, Tags, Strips, Photo Mats

Whew!!  Lol  I think that was it.  :)  The papers I used were really old but I think they look awesome on the layout.  I was going for a Wedding kind of theme with the bouquet and the layout.

The flowers on the layout and the bouquet were made from coffee filters and a couple of Lindy Stamp Gang sprays.  (Another one of my favorite scrappy things.)

I have a little treat for those of you who have stopped by.  :)   I am giving away the Tiny Wildflower Designer Template that I used to create the bouquet of flowers to one lucky scrapper!!!  Yeahhh!!!  I love prizes.  :)
